I still stand by my last statement of it being really hot here guys! The air is so thick though that you don't notice it until the sweat tickles you as it rolls down EVERY PART OF YOUR BODY!
it's not too bad though! I spent most of the day walking around Bangkok just site seeing! We checked out all the local wares near our hotel, and walked through some really pretty parks. Crossing the street is a little tricky since pedestrians do NOT have the right of way here..... seriously mom, you should be more worried about the tuk tuks than me going on a boat ride without a life vest!
By 11am it was already really hot and since we'd been up since 5 we thought it was certainly beer:thirty! After that, more walking, check out, lunch, then a quick flight up to northern Thailand and we are now in Chiang Rai for the next two nights.
Our tour guide for Chiang Rai is named Pok, and he is the sweetest, funniest tour guide ever! Our hotel here is like a little bungalow and super cute! We have tiny lizards crawling everywhere....which are adorable but not as cute in your room. Asked the valet to help us get it out and after about 5 times telling him it was really ok for him to come in with his shoes on...it took 2 of them to catch it! Those suckers are fast!
We got to go to our first night market tonight though where there is amazing food, drinks, a thousand and one things that I didn't know I needed until I saw them, and awesome entertainment! Not to mention...it's all beautiful!
I picked up a few gifts, had a great coconut rum beverage, and took my first tuk tuk ride! All in all, awesome day! Guided tours tomorrow....can't wait! (Oh and class starts next Monday for anyone who thinks I'm slacking off! Lol)
they really tucked morgan in for her massage! She has like three pillows around her and then a blanket....it was so hot!
